About the Design
I pushed through creating this piece last night in honor of Lunar New Year, despite still carrying so much trauma and grief. Finding the energy to create has been hard, but I kept going.
2025, the Year of the Wood Snake, symbolizes wisdom, transformation, and personal growth—especially the idea of shedding bad energy. (And I have a lot to shed...)
Even in the midst of pain, I catch glimmers of hope. Though I often feel stuck, I know I’m slowly moving forward. When people ask how I’m managing, I usually say, “I’m a mix of emotions, just taking it one day at a time.” My hope is to release what no longer serves me and embrace the renewal and regeneration ahead.
